About Boon
Boon Organic Tea is a newly created and registered business under the Australian Business Register (ABR) with ABN 30 606 051 458, selling retail loose leaf organic tea. I am the owner of this business and sell this tea through family, friends and in the process of selling at market stalls. I have a degree in Christian Ministry, and Community Services Work. Boon’s mission goes beyond providing high-quality organic tea—I created this business to bring connection, hope, and purpose to elderly residents in aged care homes.
My Why
My name is Ainsley, and I used to live on the Gold Coast before moving to Melbourne in 2021. Since moving to Melbourne, I have connected with and made new friends with older aged people in church and in the community, and I quickly understood that loneliness, isolation, anxiety and depression are universal experiences for older Australians.
I experienced the very same issues for a large portion of my life and it is an issue close to my heart. So I decided to create a business in order to create the support and connection that every older person deserves.
My goal is for every person to be blessed by Boon, whether you are enjoying tea or new companionship. I hope you enjoy!
